I am a huge Soul Caliber fan! I can confirm that this works on my iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 6S + on iOS 10! I would highly recommend this title to anyone that loves fighting games. It has no lag and it is a great console experience in your pocket!

They should also add soul calibur III because that was great as well in the series

I really like this game and its really fun overall I give it a 5 out of 5 but it would be cool if u could add more characters like tira and setsuka

So I was really thinking to buy this game or not.At first I got a 16 dollar iTunes card then wasted on Critical Ops cases.Then got a 20 dollar iTunes card and brought it.It works on iOS 10.1.1 and I said hey buy this game

This app runs smoothly I have an iPhone 5s and it runs it like no problem. If youre looking for a good fighting game that runs and controls smoothly without draining your battery. This is the game for that. If you are a fan of the series....its A MUST BUY!!! Even if youre not a fan. Tip: for the analog stick on the screen be light with it but also treat it and move it like a analog stick should move. That way you can preform the combos correctly with ease. If youre a button masher youll have no luck here and it will be boring.

Balanced, solid, pure fighter

I thank you for releasing this in ios even if its just the first one. Wow its like playing in an arcade machine or even in a playstation. I love how I can move around the buttons for easier inputs. No other games allows us to do that. Once again thank you for putting this in the app store. Now I can enjoy playing Soul Calibur ANYWHERE.

For finally updating to iPhone 5. But now I think its time for Soulcalibur II. I Remember how big of a break you guys took with the original Soulcalibur to Soulcalibur II release :) lets not do that on ios. Also we dont need link and spawn so just give us the ps2 version so you can skip the legal crap of getting a game released. Thanks though for the work namco. Great game!

Thanks for finally updating, the graphics look way more awesome than before. Still holding out hope that you guys will add online play. Also, theres a small glitch. On the maze of the dead stage, Infernos music will play instead of the correct theme. Not a big deal, but it should be noted.

If it had multiplayer it would be worth $15, gets boring after a while

This game is great but Subtitles are missing, and theres no Mission Battle and Team Battle which was disappointing. Also it needs iCade support, should be mapped like this. 5= A 6= G 7= B 8= K 9= K 0= ABK E1= Pause E2= Pause Add this and you get 5 stars Thanks NAMCO!

It is a great opportunity for fans of Soul Calibur to be able play the first one, the graphics are great, and the controls are decent enough. However, the game does not pose enough true fun or content to justify a beefy $15 price.

iOS7 has official controller support, and for years iCade has offered perfect arcade controllers that attach to the iOS device like simple Bluetooth keyboards. Every time this app gets updated, controller support is the only thing I want to see, and I will be forever disappointed until its there. Ill keep watching, but Ive given up all hope and respect for you people.
