You should make this a wifi multiplayer game. So I could play my friends. Then this game would be 5 stars and worth the money. It cant be that hard since mortal kombat did it

Soul Calibur on iPhone has one of the best graphics on the device. It looks every bit the same as the original Dreamcast version. Actually I think the game looks sharper on my iPhone 5 than the original DC version. Even with all the lighting and particle effects, the game runs at solid frame rate all the time with no slow down. The sound and BGM are just as great as the original version. In option you can configure to have the d-pad and buttons to be placed anywhere on screen. You can even add customized buttons like A+B, A+K, G+B, etc. Virtual buttons of course are not as good as physical controllers. But to me control is not a big issue since I can pull off the moves I want most of the time. I would have given Soul Calibur on iPhone five stars if contents are not missing. Most apparently, the quest mode is not in. Also, characters biography, stage description and endings are missing in the museum mode. With all these missing contents, this version of Soul Calibur gives the game a barebone feel - the core gameplay in arcade, survival and time attack mode is solid in every aspect but there are holes to be filled. Hopefully these missing contents will be added in future updates. (I havent tried versus mode and cant comment on it.)
The best
Cant really play it without 16/9
Glad it finally arrived on IOS. I have been waiting for a serious fighting game on IOS and none of them have the heart this game does. Its better than Mortal Combat, Street Fighter and all the sword fighting games currently on IOS and its slightly crippled compared to its Playstation and Xbox siblings. Hope fully they will add more features soon, and what would be even better is if they would add Soul Calibur 2 and 3. Played it on my iPhone and airplanes it to my flat screen via the AppleTV and it is amazing! If you are a fan of true fighting games, not turn based crap-ware then this is for you. Just remember that it is addictive and can get fiercely difficult and competitive.
I love the game, it runs like a charm on my iPad. I do wish it had iCade support to boost the nostalgic feel. It is also missing a couple things, like the start up video. I could also go for optimization for iPod/iPhone 5. If these ever get fixed, this would become a guaranteed hit once more.
Versus mode with iOS 7 does not work. Please, all would be perfect if you work done. Tanks
I accidentally bought this game, kinda mad. :]
No ios 7 or 8 support... What a joke ! I will never buy your games again
It s a very cool game, but could you please add multiplayer and highscore?:)
Thats the game which I play since its being released!!!! iOS 7 released three monts ago! Why I cannot play vs mode since now?????!!!!!!! Fix that problem!!!! Im really angry about that!!!!!!

Please, we want at least 4" screen support. And itll be perfect with working "vs mode" on 5 and 5s iPhones. Thank you for awesome game in any way.

Aggiornate per iphone 5!
when update for iPhone 5??
Please update with controller support
I just love the SC series. Great port. Should add controller support tho.
This is hands down the best fighting game on ios, with a few minor glitches that can be fixed by simply restarting the app, fantastic music, levels, and characters, and over all its just really fun, one question though, why does the playable version of inferno not match the inferno that you fight at the end of arcade?
